Can we kindly reduce our level of negativity as that leads us to no where, very distinguished public figures decided to resign as MP, namely Former Minsters Ndebela, Xingwana, , Ms Ntuli and former Speaker Sisulu etc. All the speculation is about negativity, at least all of them are senior and distinguished members of ANC they are aware that the President was forming a new executive and nobody was guaranteed appointment. They are indeed entitled to consider their individual circumstances and decide whether they can still add more to our parliament or not and also whether the reduction in their financial circumstances can be taken or not. We must remember that if they retire as Ministers their pension packages is calculated as such but if they take the MP position it could be less. For ours I think we should be thanking them for having served us with honour & distinctions and be grateful that most of them remain ANC Nec members and will still contribute in our public life. So I suggest that we shy away from the negative speculation and wish them well in their new endeavours
