Can we manage it ? Can we manage to raise a huge action in favour of the strays? We need you ALL...EACH OF YOU! Please let us come together...let us connect and give our answer to this incredible injustice. Our efforts shouldnt be without results...all the months of hard work...NO!!! Please invite and share, beg your friends to take part, I know, it is Christmas soon...for us...many of us do not have plenty of time, please...however...take 5 minutes...please!!! According to 4Paws ( 4Pfoten): A new EU Animal Protection Law is causing trouble: Therein it is distinguished between pets and strays. Strays will be classified as wild animals what would result in a worsening of rights protection of the animals. 4Paws critisizes this preplanned law in the strongest, as this would ease to shoot straying or freerunning animals by hunt in concrete cases. Positive environment: it is required an EU wide chip and registration duty for dogs. This would not only be an important instrument in the fight against trade with puppies but it would also make the abandonning of dogs and cats more difficult. The discussion to the new Animal Protection Law takes place behind closed doors. Obviously also in order to put through the incorrect definition of strays unhindered. 4Paws therefore decides to raise the voice for EU citizens and animals more significant and louder: we have started an international protest action with postcards. These are addressed to the concerned EU institiutions respectively to the country representations in the city councils. Herewith all EU citizens are called to take part and to send digital postcards to the concerned EU Commissioners and EU Members of Parliament: Please read here: @ vier-pfoten.at/.../neues-eu-tierschutzgesetz.../ ] The most important addresses as follows: Euopean Parliament Bruxelles. Rue de la Loi / Wetstraat 200 de 1049 Bruxelles. Or also / additionally possible to send to: European Parliament Rue Wiertz B-1047 Bruxelles Tel:. + 32-2-284 21 11 Fax: + 32-2-284 69 33
