Can we please get some people [Portuguese or not], to go and say something nice on The Colbert Reports facebook page, or Mr. Colberts twitter (@Stephenathome)? FYI, we [the Portuguese] are apparently part of speech impediment Spain, eat a lot of squid and peak early (referring to our History). Is this really what defines us? Of course not. Is this incredibly diminishing of an incredibly rich culture? Yes. Is it appaling and offensive? Yes. Is it discriminatory? Again, yes. The least Stephen Colbert could do is issue an official apology.
