Can you help? Police are investigating an armed robbery in Tamworth early Sunday morning. About 12.30am, a man allegedly entered the rear door of a fast food restaurant on Roderick Street, armed with a knife. The restaurant was closed at the time with employees still present. The man allegedly entered the kitchen area and threatened staff, demanding money. An employee handed over cash before the man fled on foot. Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward. The man has been described as being 180 to 185cm tall, with a medium build, and was wearing a balaclava, dark sunglasses and gloves.
