Can you help us solve an assault? ++++++++++++++++++++++++ Surrey Police is appealing for witnesses to an assault which took place on Oxenden Road, Tongham. At around 2.55am on Sunday 23 June 2013, after being woken up from noise coming from a nearby party a resident went outside to check on his vehicle after becoming concerned about seeing people standing by his van. After approaching the group, the victim who is in his 30’s was punched by a man in the group and sustained head injuries. The man then made off in a car parked next to the van. PC Anderson investigating this incident said: "We are looking for people to help establish who assaulted the victim and would like to speak to anyone who witnessed this incident, or saw a vehicle leaving the location at around the time of the incident.
