Can you imagine having to tell your child that they can only have but one meal today because you have no food. Well, that is exactly what Pastor Jim of Lighthouse Mission heard yesterday from one of the hundreds of people that Lighthouse Mission feeds everyday. It broke my heart to read his post. I thought how I would have felt when my children were little, having to tell them that there would be no supper because mommy and daddy had no money to buy food. Thanks be to God, that I never had the experience. The outreach performed by everyone at Lighthouse Mission is truly blessed by Our Lord. However, Lighthouse needs help in order to feed the ever growing number of people in need. Just one bag of groceries from those of us who have food to eat, would help to feed so many in need. The summer months are especially difficult getting food donations. PLEASE search your hearts and give.
