Can you see this little character all camouflaged in this photo taken inside an old gum tree at Bonorong?! Well some people dont think bats are cute but we are all huge bat lovers out at Bonorong and let us tell you they certainly are remarkable little creatures!! In September, Bonorong is hosting another Bat Night as part of a few things we are doing for Threatened Species Day (which is held annually across Australia on September 7th). This will be our third Bat Night run by our wonderful batty friend and Tasmanian bat expert - Dr Lisa Cawthen. The last two were packed events so please get in quickly with your RSVPs (see details on flyer). We promise that you will learn incredible things about bats that you did not know and the real highlight is the walk around the Sanctuary after the talk with Lisas super cool bat detector box!!!
