Can you spare $1??? This small shelter could really use the funds. =@= GURDON, ARKANSAS =@= Introducing DOLLARS FOR DOGGIES!! Hey everybody! We have a really cool fundraiser that enables virtually anyone to help the Gurdon Animal Shelter dogs. First, the attached picture really represents what we are doing. This is called DOLLARS FOR DOGGIES and here is how it works. You need an envelope, a piece of paper, a postage stamp, and a ONE DOLLAR BILL. Next, address the envelope to Gurdon Shelter, c/o Ty Oppelt, PO Box 44, Gurdon, AR, 71743-0044. Place the stamp on the envelope, fold the piece of paper around the dollar, (not needed if you use security envelope). Now, place it in the envelope...(if you want, take a picture of it!) Now mail it! Thats it! You have helped a shelter dog and it was virtually painless to your wallet! Now, if you took a picture of it, POST that picture, and challenge your dog loving friends to do the same. If you didnt take a picture of it, then still feel free to challenge your friends and spread the word. We already had one donation, and they gave a dollar for each of their 5 pets, so it was a $5.00 donation! This is something EVERYONE can participate in and believe it or not, a dollar goes a long way in helping these dogs get well if sick, for spaying/neutering so they can get into great homes, or to reputable rescues. Everyone truly CAN make a difference! Every dollar will go straight to helping our dogs here at the shelter.
