Can your kids order numbers? To be a good at maths you must be able to put numbers in the right order. It doesn’t matter if your kid is 3 or 13 it’s a skill kids must learn and have. Teachers check that kids can do it all the time. Here are simple and quick ways you can check if your kids can order numbers. Write out the numbers: A.1-5 on separate pieces of paper and scatter them on the floor or table and then ask your child to order them from the smallest to the biggest. B. 0-10 on separate pieces of paper and scatter them in a random order and then ask your child to order them from the smallest to the biggest. C.0-20 on separate pieces of paper and scatter them in a random order and then ask your child to order them from the smallest to the biggest. D.0-100 on separate pieces of paper scatter them in a random order and then ask your child to order them from the smallest to the biggest. E.0-1000 on separate pieces of paper scatter them in a random order and then ask your child to order them from the smallest to the biggest. Get your child to do each test 5 times at different times to make sure your kids can order the numbers correctly. Each test should take a maximum of 2 minutes. Take care, have a great day and keep those questions coming in. Tmtmk.
