Canada has greatly appreciated the support of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation, especially in funding the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Centre for Hellenic Studies at Simon Fraser University, and creating in 2013 scholarships at four Canadian universities: McGill, Université de Montréal, University of Ottawa/Université d’Ottawa and York University. The Co-President of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation’s Board of Directors, Mr. Andreas Dracopoulos, talks about the meaning of philotimo in a video conceived and realized by the Washington Oxi Day Foundation.
