Canada is the best country in the world! There is no place else like it. We have freedom like no other place in the world. We have a history of tolerance and opportunity for the individual all like no other country. I am proud to be a Canadian! The attack on our Capitol was intended to provoke fear, and a reaction to that fear, in an effort to move us away from our commitment to freedom for individual expression and action. Undoubtedly their will be some success, evidenced by increased security at our public places. Hopefully this will not be a permanent condition. Our dear soldiers were there to represent the sacrifices of others and remind us of the respect we should have for our freedoms. They were not there not to defend it alone, they were there to witness our respect. As such their deaths are a tragedy. I was shopping today in a second hand store, and was very lucky to find an original Gordon Lightfoot album in perfect condition.
