Cancer Survivor Young Victor Madzivanzira - Still pushing in his grades, while waiting for doctors opinion. In 2010, I got to know about Victor, when his father Bigboy Madzivanzira shared with the pain and struggle they were going through when young Victor was diagnosed with Cancer. We pooled whatever resources we had to get Victor some treatment. Bigboy went on to form the an organisation for Parent with Children Living with Cancer, Zimbabwe; which is a support and solidarity network. I was invited to be lend my support as patron. Today, Mr Madzivanzira shared with us this update; Victor arriving at Parirenyatwa Hospital this morning to hear what Doctors had finally agreed on his condition. His Professor attending to him since 2010 had referred him to another professor for second opinion. Second opinion said Victors problem had been there since 2012 but something went wrong with his scans that were reporting him normal. His Doctor has asked us for at least three weeks so she can go through medical records again and discuss with Doctors how were doing scans before deciding on his treatment. Oh God help my Victor. Victor had to repeat his grade 2 class in 2013, and his parent shared with us his report card. I just want him to have his health restored such that he can at least enjoy his grade 4 class this year.
