Cancer Update Aug 10 Today I went back and read some of the updates I posted prior to surgery just to see what my thoughts were then. I came across this post from January 25 and it was just what I needed to reflect on today. So I thought I would repost it, just in case someone has a special burden tonight and needs to know God’s presence. Cancer Update January 25 While laying around during my stress test today for pre-surgery, I have been thinking on the nearness of God. I tend to think that God is everywhere, which of course He is, therefore part of God is here with me, part of God is with you, and part of God is everywhere in His universe. But then I thought, no, no, that is not right. All of God is right here with me, and all of God is right there with you. He is omnipresent, therefore where ever He is, He is there in total, not just a part of Him. All that God is, His totalality, is right here with me now. My mind cannot comprehend this, but mine is not to understand but to accept as truth what I cannot understand. "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."
