Cancer care is really important to me. Today more than ever. I - TopicsExpress

Cancer care is really important to me. Today more than ever. I have a dad recovering from 2 different types, including one connected to cigarette addiction in a combination of public & private hospitals. My mum is currently in treatment for the Big C too and I have lost four young friends/colleagues (u40) to it in the last 8 years, including one in the past week. The personal is political. $79.2 Billion to cancer services in 13-14 budget; $560 million investment in regional cancer Centres; increased taxes on fags to prevent smoking. Politics is no joke; your vote changes lives. This is why I vote Labor; the party of medicare, PBS increases, committed to cutting edge national oncology services. health.gov.au/internet/main/publishing.nsf/Content/HHF-RCCP11
