When the legislators passed SB1030, a strain of medical marijuana used to treat epilepsy was decided to have accepted safety for use under medical supervision and therefore Cannabis must now be removed from the list of Schedule I Controlled substances to reconcile the list with the law. Bill Wohlsifer says: The current Attorney General failed in her duty to do that. As your next Attorney General, to resolve the conflict I just described, I will take Cannabis off the list of Schedule I Controlled substances and reschedule the strains appropriately.
