Cannot believe I had not heard Velvets White Light White Heat album until last night. Somehow never got round to it. Certainly not my favourite but visceral as being stung by 10 big b**tard wasps and obviously ridiculously influential. Gone on a bit of a VU related binge and bought 1969 Live Volume 1, John Cales 1919, Nicos Chelsea Girl and Lou Reeds New York which I have not heard for a long long time but I remember loving the American Whale song.
