Cant Remove Device Administrator Fixed - Android Jellybean and Kitkat: Hi All , Who have been facing problem after installation of apps that requires device administrator rights are now worrying why do u have installed that and not able to uninstall.. Here is a fix. Am an employee of some organization where i face same problem after installing app recommended for mail and organization purpose. After installing that i faced some issue on my device speed and heat issue. So i tried uninstalling that but got error like below screenshot where am unable to remove the Device administrator installed by concern app of my organization. I have also rebooted , Tried removing some other apps no use. After a long research of this i came to know that Google started recommending the app developers who need device administrator rights to have an option inside of their application to uninstall them. Seriously this fixed me a lot..   Example : IBM Notes traveler i installed. After installation when i gave the credentials for lo-gin it worked but took me to device administrator to be enabled of that organization. I too have installed that. Some Long time went . I faced serious issues like phone charging gets soon out and also mobile got heating. So i have planned to uninstall the same. When i went to device administrator to uninstall, it showed to deactivate. i have continued to deactivate. OPTIONS TRIED FOR UNINSTALLING BEFORE SOLUTION : Have an application installed that requires being a Device administrator. - Navigate to the Security > Device administrator menu then tap the checkbox next to the application that you want to deactivate. - Next screen pops up, tap deactivate. - When youre returned to the Device administrators menu, the box will still appear to be checked. - If you return to the home screen, then go back into the menu, the application checkbox will be unchecked. - Play Store says its still an admin when I try to uninstall the app, after this broken deactivation - system settings app managers info screen for the app brings up all but cached options greyed, so I cant kill the app or uninstall it there. - persists through reboot No clearance. Go-ogled to check any possibilities to remove it. All have asked the same and no solution. https://code.google/p/android/issues/detail?id=53130 ===== page where Google members are crying to remove this.   So i have done this where at-last i have uninstalled now. ------------------------------------------------------- Please open the specified app and goto setting or app configuration. On setting menu you will find the option uninstall. Click that after clicking that device will pop up to ask password. enter the password u assigned for security and click next. Device administator will automatically remove. once removed u can uninstall the app.   Enjoy. !!!!!! share to all..!!!!
