Cant believe how many short-sighted people are out there. The ice bucket challenge is all about raising awareness for ALS. There are hundreds of thousands of people who had no clue nationwide what ALS was that now do. Thats the point of the challenge. It is no different than wearing pink all October or not shaving for no shave November. It may seem dumb to you, but its raised millions in extra donations to ALS based charities. So Im sorry you have to scroll a few extra minutes to catch up on all your gossip for a few weeks. Im sure everyone suffering from this terrible disease feel bad for inconveniencing your scrolling thumb while awareness and money is being raised for a disease that has destroyed their lives.
