Cant sleep, another bad dream last night.. They drain you..Instead of waking up feeling refreshed you wake up with that whole in gut. With that heartfelt ripped feeling, The feeling that someone just took a knife and stabbed you repeatedly over and over again but refused to let you die.. And dont tell me you know it. because you dont. Unless youve held you childs cold little body against your chest, And struggle desperately for what seems like endless hours to warm those little hands and make him breath.. you do not. You could never imagine what that does to you, What it takes from you, But be glad!!! No amount of time or healing will ever freely clear you of that night, none. and then getting up and going throughout your day. something so simple becomes such a draining task.. Its the pretending..The having to pretend that nothing happened and all is good that sometimes take so much out of you...When really you cant get that part out of your head and your heart. And sleep.. you just want it so very bad..
