Cant they ease me back into motherhood slowly? You know, like a couple of hours throughout the day. Instead, Ive had one lone cup of coffee, and already Adams skateboard went into the pool. But in order to retrieve it with the net-pole-skimmer thing, he had to have the right costume. He needed to be dressed in his self-invented Life Guard costume. This consisted of board shorts, a cap, sunglasses, and flip-flops. After he paraded around playing lifeguard, I reminded him that the purpose of the outfit was to retrieve the skateboard. So, I had to endure 20 minutes of watching him attempt the rescue, denying all offers of assistance or even advice from me. It was like watching someone clean up spilled sugar with tweezers. Then Liam and Adam had a HUGE fight. Its always over getting the Last Touch. This usually escalates quickly into the last punch or last kick, and then the one hurt worst cries that I dont punish the other one. They will not stop this hideous game. It evolves into slamming doors, kicking walls, etc... Thats when the punishment comes in and electronics are confiscated.
