Cant wait! For years, our former congressman Rick Boucher organized a swing through SWVA and his 9th congressional district for GOTV (get out the vote) rallies the weekend before the election. Many of the biggest names in Virginia politics have attended (all Democrats, of course). After his defeat to TCC Morgan Griffith, Rick took a couple of years off. Now hes back, this Saturday, at the Montgomery County Government Center in Christiansburg. What makes this event so special? Joining Boucher will be West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin. Remember Joe? Hes the guy who in a campaign ad for himself carried a high-powered rifle and shot a bullet through a sheet of paper with Cap and Trade on it, legislation that Boucher championed and over which his loss is widely blamed.
