Capping off a great week for SEQUALO, was the Eagle Farm win of PADRINO, the 3yo gelding trained by Tony Gollan, and part owned by Lyndhurst Stud. It was his second win over 1500m, and todays win also collected a handsome QTIS bonus for connections. Bred by Lyndhurst from their Timber Country mare, Donna Mia. Also winning today for SEQUALO, was the Danny Bougoure trained SEQUENDS at the Gold Coast, bred by long time client Albert Chui from his Distinctly North mare Northern Friends. HIDDEN DRAGON saluted with two provincial winners, GLAURUNG winning at Atherton in Far North Queensland, bred by shareholder Fraternity Thoroughbreds from the Tale Of The Cat mare Silent Cat. At Dalby in South West Queensland, DINAS DRAGON won its maiden under trainer Rex Lipp over 1200m at only his third start, bred by Lyndhurst Stud from the Export Price mare Port Manner. Well done to SPIRIT OF BOOM, running 4th in the Group One Winterbottom Stakes at Ascot in Perth. It was a great effort after being badly checked at the 700m mark. Finally, with the win of Lucky Gray in the million dollar Railway Stakes in Perth, Bradburys Luck takes a commanding lead in the race for Champion Queensland sire, SEQUALO is running second, followed by Show a Heart and HIDDEN DRAGON.
