Capt. Mir Taimoor Shaheed was from Village Buttdara ,Muzaffarabad AJ&K, At the age of 23 years he embraced shahadat at Siachin in Kargil War. Cap.Mir Taimur Shaheed was born on 20th September 1976. He belongs to ARMY family. His Father Mir Mohammad Bashir (Late) was Army officer (Colonel), his real uncle served in PAF as Air Commodore (Brigadier ) and his younger brother is also serving in PAK Army. Cap.Mir Taimur Shaheed got his earlier education from Hyderabad, Bahawalpur, Peshawar, Karachi and Quetta as his father had to move in different cities during his Army service. Cap.Mir Taimur Shaheed Joined PMA long course in April 1994 and passed out in April, 1996. Only in 3 years of his Military service, due to his capability and hard work reached to rank of Captain and embrace Shahadat in June 1999 at Siachn. Due to his braveness he was awarded Tamgha-a-basalat.
