Captains Log: BBQ System assembly and testing. Well everyone knows theres little point having a deck or time off if you dont have a BBQ and after a magnificent day with friends of Conda, I knew the BBQ we had to have. It came in a huge and heavy box that I think contained about a million parts, nuts, bolts and items that defied definition that had to be put together to produce a functioning unit but I knew I was up to the challenge, or had a good chance of finding someone to help me sort out any problems. Most uncommonly for me, I did read the directions briefly splitting them into three categories of descending priority that I gave attention to in proportional amounts. 1) Important because a gas explosion could be inconvenient. 2) Every fool knows that so Im covered. 3) Ill read that when I try two or three times and it wont go together until I find out how I should have done it. After scattering all the parts all over the deck, I did get a functioning unit working and with the help of Corey the charcoal side preformed flawlessly cooking pork ribs but the gas side needs a couple of adjustments that after reading the instructions should be working fully tomorrow:
