Captains Log Stardate 9/24/2014 Nothing like a cracked filling in a back molar to send you scurrying to the dentist. At least it was a fun bus ride for Sawyer and he got a balsawood airplane without having to have them mess with his teeth. They cleaned mine while I was there so it was a two for one visit. Also reminded me how awesome Portlands mass transit system is - made it door to door to the dentist with 5 minutes to spare. In case they had to gas or drug me I didnt want to take the bicycle... It was Sawyers first big city bus ride and he LOVED it. One ancient gentleman told him he was a beautiful girl. And this after hes highlighting the short haircut now. He was wearing two sets of Mardi Gras beads and has those incredible lashes so I let it slide... also the old man was sporting glasses the thickness of the hubble telescope. I almost told Sawyer to show him your tits but you have to know your room and this seemed more like a matinee crowd and we were nowhere near New Orleans. At the playground beforehand we met one of his preschool girlfriends. The monkey bars were still dripping from last nights rain. Sawyer jumped on them anyway explaining. I like touching wet things. His pal jumped on up on the other side. So do I. she giggled. The other father gave me a hitchhikers guide to the galaxy type shrug. As long as Im not hearing this same conversation 10 years from now from the recroom. Were good.
