Captains Prize Pat Peters was the popular winner of the Captain’s Prize (Kieran Cunningham) held over the weekend with a score of 122 nett (61+61) for the two rounds. Donal Mullane finished second with 128 nett (64+64). Tony White was third with 132 nett (65+67) with Billy Phelan a stroke back in fourth with 133 nett (66+67) and Michael Kenrick was fifth with 135 nett (68+67). Denis Burke won the gross prize with a score of 147 for the two rounds (72+75). James Harrington was the best Junior with 134 nett (70+64). Michael Hanley was our best distance member with 133 nett (64+69). Michael A O’Meara won the committee prize with 135 nett (67+68).Sean Grant had the best front 9 and Eddie Daly had the best back 9. Tom Leen was nearest the pin and Philip Britton had the longest drive. The course was in great condition with the pins in some very tricky places which caught a lot of players out. A special word of thanks to our green keeper Tony White and his right hand man Gabby Kiss for the magnificent work they have done on the course.
