Captains and players must review the following rules and agree to these terms to continue: LEAGUE SIGN UP: The Athletics Office reserves the right to place or move within the divisions on a night to balance competitiveness. Teams registering for a division above or below skill level may not always be able to reassigned and will need to complete the regular season in the division chosen. All teams will be evaluated by several factors for tournament play. JERSEY POLICY: All teams are REQUIRED to wear same colored jerseys with alternating colored numbers (i.e. black jersey, white numbers) on the front and back of the jerseys. Numbers must be at least 6 inches in height. Numbers must be ironed, sewed, or silk printed on - NO TAPE NUMBERS! If teams do not want to have reversible jerseys, they should bring a dark and light color t-shirt to every game. Team members may not have the same numbers. Numbers such as 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 are legal, !@#$%^&*() are not! ROSTER/WAIVER POLICY: Every player participating in ANY Lincoln Parks and Recreation Sport MUST have fully completed either the ONLINE or paper roster to participate. Players must have a photo ID with them during tournament for verification in case of a player protest. All white copies of roster forms must be returned to the Athletics Office, emailed to [email protected] or handed to the score keeper prior to the first game. Players may be added to the roster at any time before the FINAL GAME OF THE REGULAR SEASON. A combination of ONLINE and paper rosters are acceptable. IF A PLAYER HAS NOT COMPLETED THE ROSTER/WAIVER, THEY MAY NOT PLAY IN THE TOURNAMENT - REGARDLESS OF THE CIRCUMSTANCES!! TEAM/PLAYERS ACTIONS: Any player that gets technical foul must sit until the next stop in play. Any player that gets 2 technical fouls in a game is ejected. Any player ejected WILL FACE A 1 WEEK SUSPENSION from all teams/nights on which they play! Any player ejected from a game MUST leave the basketball gym immediately, or their team will receive a forfeit. If the ejected player does not leave the gym within an appropriate time frame determined by the gym supervisor and they continue to harass the officials or other players, the ejected player will face further game suspensions - up and including a season long suspension. The supervisor is in charge of the building and will rule on any situation that comes up. Their ruling will be final. Staff has the authority to eject anyone from a game for roughness or unsportsmanlike conduct. Anyone who physically assaults any a player, official or supervisor will be subject to the City’s Banning Policy.
