Captains log...Stardate 2014.12.08...arrived Cairns; picked up Starship Enterprise; Kirk and Spock on recon in unchartered fields (to rival any TAT tour!); headed south in pursuit of some.whopping weeping willow (aka fig tree); lunched at a quaint tea house on Lake Barrine (superb life.changing bacon!!); onto Malanda for less than impressive Cheese Factory...but Falls were lovely!; onto Atherton where we found Gallo cheese n chocs (MUCH more impressive....and TASTY!!)...then (not so) happy hour at some distillery where i tried a take your head off vodka and a much more my style marshmallow liquer; then to ice creamery (ssssooooo good!! - mango sorbet for mine after all, im immersing myself in local fodder!)...onto Kuranda for a spectacular drive down the range into Cairns to.check in with Pat Rafter at our home for the next 5 days! Life is good!! No FNQ Blues yet Gary Darx! :-)
