Car accident update: I am home again. I have a sore neck, sore ribs, and a sore right foot. I also cannot shake the memory of seeing an oncoming car, then watching the world spin sideways. But I am lucky to be alive, thank you to Michaels adroit driving. I know that I am lucky to have woken up this morning, and not to have woken up in a hospital bed. So I am thankful for every ache and pain, because it could have been a lot worse. What does one do 24 hours after having a car accident? They certainly do not go for a 17km bike ride, but thats what Im going to do. I need to impose on somebody for some restorative cuddles and distraction from the memory of yesterdays prang.
