Car update: they have had our Edge now for 28 days trying to fix the brakes. We sent something to Ford Motor about it this week and what a surprise - our car was done today. We went in to pick it up and asked to see it before we accept it - and nothing changed. The Ford engineer that came in yesterday said that it is normal for cars to make the sounds it is and all the new Edges do the exact same thing. So - I asked them to take me to a new Ford Edge to compare. It didnt make the same sound... We told the service manager that we wouldnt take possession of it and they need to go back to the engineer and try again. She said she agreed with us.
