Career Opportunity in the Northern California Region $23/HR FT and PT Openings Incident Response Center (IRC) Specialist General Statement of Job The Incident Response Center (IRC) Specialist, under guidance of the IRC Manager, is responsible for monitoring the safety and security of the corporations employees, facilities, and property worldwide. On a daily basis you will use a variety of tools that range from global access control and alarm monitoring system to various business intelligence sources, open source media, Internet, and in-house tools. Incident Response Center (IRC) Specialist is required to detect, analyze, and alert security management regarding any adverse conditions to the corporation and its employees. These may range from extreme weather conditions, political instability, crime or terror to technical failures. Specific Duties and Responsibilities Key Responsibilities • Assist company employees in all concerns that pertain to safety and security • Conduct ongoing review of multiple systems and sources to detect potential risks • Coordinate with other Site’s security teams for escalation of issues • Investigate alarms and respond by sending patrol, or alerting Fire or Police services as needed • Notify and coordinate corporate response by distribution of advisories and other communications • Compile daily reports and incident reports • Conduct in-depth risk analysis for locations or events Additional Job Duties • Monitor travel safety and security of companys employees • Assists in investigations pertaining to thefts, threats, or damage done in or to PlayStation Employees and Offices • Present risk assessments to corporate managers upon request • Perform other related duties as required Minimum Training and Qualifications • Bilingual in Spanish, Portuguese or Japanese (essential). Will be asked to write a five (5) sentence paragraph in the secondary language spoken. • 1-2 Years Security Operations Center (SOC) or Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Experience • College Education Mandatory or 4 years of equivalent experience in Military, Call Center, or Police Dispatch • Problem Solving / Follow direction / Think independently / Know when to escalate abilities • Prior experience with research/analysis • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools Skills • Leadership Skills • Strong customer service skills • Effective time management skills • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills • Must possess professional experience in the areas of people and conflict management with tact and discretion • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Must be flexible and possess the ability to function in stressful situations • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and demanding work environment • Comfortable with high-tech work environment, and constant learning of new tools and innovations • Flexibility to work all shifts, and willingness to assist the team with overtime when needed • Self-motivated, curious, knowledgeable about news and current events • A dependable team player with business maturity, enthusiasm and a positive attitude • Impeccable work ethic • High degree of integrity • General knowledge of Federal and State Employment laws Preferred Qualifications • Preferred degrees: Criminal Justice, Computer Science, Political Science, Business, Information Security, Information Technology, International Affairs/Relations/Business, Emergency Management or related discipline • IT programming or development in MS Access or use of Databases is a Plus • One year commitment • CPP Mentorship will be provided To apply, visit: jobs.alliedbarton/job/Foster-City-Security-Officer-Guard-FT-Job-CA-94404/33845900/ We encourage anyone who meets these qualifications and is interested in this position to submit their resume to Joyce.Huckaby@alliedbarton
