Career Partners International Buffalo | Niagara is offering a Student to Work workshop to help first time job seekers and recent graduates stand out from the crowd. The Student to Work workshop is targeted towards first time job seekers and recent graduates. CPIBN combines high personal touch consulting with innovation and high-tech resources to meet the ever-growing demand for its services. The Student to Work workshop provides participants with valuable skills in networking, resume writing, and interviewing techniques that can often take years of experience to learn. Here’s what they’ll gain from attending: • A Professional Resume – each participant will have a professional resume written and learn how to write a compelling cover letter. • LinkedIn Profile – they will learn how to create a LinkedIn profile and connect to a first class network of people. • Interview Preparation – participants will practice answering difficult interview questions and gain confidence in their interviewing techniques. “We’re very excited about the new Student to Work workshop,” shared Dottie Austin, a partner with Career Partners International Buffalo | Niagara. “Being able to provide our same level of service and expertise to this target market allows us to help more people to quickly land on their feet.” “We’ve got a very effective career transition program in place that’s helped thousands of individuals who have been outplaced, so it only made sense to expand this offering to first time job seekers and new graduates,” added Mark Weigel, the other partner of CPIBN. “We are continuously looking for opportunities to expand our offerings while sticking to our niche business. We understand what we do well and if we can bring more of that to our clients, it’s a win-win.” The Student to Work workshop is being offered this fall, beginning on Saturday, September 7 and will be offered on Friday mornings as well. Additional information can be obtained by contacting Diane Robinson at drobinson@cpibn.
