## Carla Smith - Laylens Wish ## Its every pregnant womans nightmare and worst fear but unfortunately sometimes the worst does happen; as a father of 2 I can not even start to imagine the pain and suffering it must cause losing a baby or the worry a mother and father must go through if that birth is premature but to have to deal with both, its unthinkable! Sadly Carla Smith did experience this as featured in this weeks Hull Daily Mail hulldailymail.co.uk/8216-childbirth-heartache-inspired-help-8217-Hull/story-22794625-detail/story.html and nearly died in the process too but somehow has managed to deal with the trauma in a positive way setting up what is now called Laylens Wish in memory of the son she lost, Laylen. Laylens Wish is a box filled with tiny clothes & gifts for babys born prematurely and set up as a direct result of what Carla has been through. Raising over £1500 already its Carlas ambition to set up this charity on a more permanent basis with the hope of providing this vital service to all the babies born prematurely at Hulls Womens & Childrens Hospital with much needed clothes suitable for babies born prematurely.
