Carlsberg South West Peninsula League Division One West St Dennis 1 Callington Town 2 Despite being depleted by injury, Callington put in a solid performance to gain a deserved victory in Clay Country. Town settled well and dominated the opening 20 minutes before finding themselves a goal down when St Dennis broke clear and fired past Sam Borthwick. After the break, Callington set about the hosts and within a minute had levelled matter. A great flowing run from one end of the pitch to the other finished with Kirk Smith firing home. Both teams had chances as the half went on but in the end it was the superior quality of Callington that finally won out as Luke Avis Riordhan got his league first goal of the season late on to secure the three points for Town.
