Carmen D. Calhoun Hey guys! Hoping someone can give me some advice about starting locs. I want to start some with two strand twist this week but Im noticing I have breakage at my edges & crown area. Ive been natural 3yrs so I have some length & my hair is pretty thick. Should I proceed with starting the locs or should I wait until the broken areas grow in some? Also should I use any product in starting them? Was thinking about making the flaxseed gel. Any advice you can give me about starting locs would be great. Thanks!
