Carpe Diem! Seize the day! Written in 23BC, by a Roman poet named Horace. 2012 years later the phrase was made famous again by an English Professor played by Robin Williams in Dead Poet’s Society. This day is all we have. We make ALL our decisions in the NOW. Will the decisions we make TODAY lead us to better health, prosperity, more time to do the things we want to do with our precious time? Or will they keep us exactly where we are..... (or even leave us worse off than we were yesterday). Logic agrees – the past is simply an accumulation of our present-moments (NOW’s). And the past is over….. done with. Moving right along. Its what we do RIGHT NOW that can get us into our groove. Success at anything…..ANYTHING…..is about recognising your goal as a DESTINATION, claiming it as YOURS and then making a commitment to small and constant improvements until you’ve developed and accumulated skills which allow you to simply reach out and grab it. Imagine you asked an unfit person to do 30 press-ups right now. I’m talking proper nose-touches-the-ground-type press-ups. Chances are you’ll get 5 maybe 6 decent ones before they collapse into a hyperventilating sweaty heap. But if that person was committed to getting fitter and agreed to a simple 5 minutes programme for 30-days you could ask for: - 1 proper press up on Day 1…..then relax - 2 proper press ups on Day 2.. relax - 3 on Day 3, 4 on Day 4 etc…. On Day 30 you’d have 30 proper marine-style press ups – with a big smile!!! This is how we improve - One step at a time. We get better, fitter, before we know it were RUNNING! Who can get better? Set your future free. It’s fun. It’s simple. It’s magical. Read success stories of people we work with here: mywealth365.co.za
