Case Manager (Bellevue and/or Carrick) Circle C Youth and Family Services is an organization dedicated to serving at-risk children and their families. The organization provides 24-hour residential care and treatment to young people who are at risk to be abused, neglected, or involved in the juvenile justice system. As a full-time Case Manager you will be working with adolescent boys residing in group homes. These boys may be placed in a group home because their families were struggling and unable to care for their children or they may come into care due to behavioral issues such as truancy. We provide a home like environment while working to change the dynamics or concerns that caused them to be removed from their home. As a full-time Case Manager you will be responsible for the provision of therapeutic services for children both on-site and through referral to external sources. Case management duties include: referring to external services such as mental health or substance abuse treatment, attending case conferences & court hearings, scheduling home visits and coordinating all facets of the childs care. As the case manager you will be responsible for all case documentation including the service plan, monthly updates, contact information, safety assessments and a family assessment. Documentation will require a well-organized individual who has good time management skills and is computer literate. Counseling duties include engaging the boys in a therapeutic relationship and some individual and group work as needed and family therapy on site with select families. The full-time Case Manager position is well suited for self motivated individuals who enjoy a busy, but varied routine. There is a combination of direct service and client interaction as well as case management and some administrative duties. If you enjoy working with adolescent boys, have a talent for doing so and like the challenge of engaging children who have survived difficult circumstances, this position may be a good fit. A flex disposition is helpful for the ideal candidate as each day brings new issues and concerns that sometimes need immediate attention. This position has varied work hours for programming flexibility and also affords the employee some degree of flexibility and autonomy. This position has on-call responsibilities, requiring a 7 day commitment every 5 - 6 weeks.
