Cash of Rs. 4.60 lakh seized in Kishtwar KISHTWAR, NOVEMBER 10:-Keeping a strict check over carrying of unaccounted cash during the enforcement of Model Code of Conduct in district Kishtwar, the Static Surveillance Teams constituted by district administration have seized an amount of Rs 4.60 lakh so far. This was disclosed by District Election officer (DEO) Kishtwar Mohammad Javed Khan and S.P. Kishtwar Yougal Manhas during a video conference with P.K. Dash, Director General, Election Expenditure, ECI and Chief Electoral Officer, J&K. The District Election Officer Kishtwar apprised the CEO about the functioning of various cells regarding the poll arrangements, MCC, EVMs, man power management, induction of polling parties etc. He assured the CEO that the district administration is committed to ensure free and fair election in Kishtwar.
