Casio and Infiniti Red Bull Racing press conference, Melbourne In January 2014, Casio announced the extension of its relationship with Infiniti Red Bull Racing for an additional two seasons. This will be Casio’s 6th year in collaboration with the team who are now one of Infiniti Red Bull Racing’s longest running partners. This relationship combines outstanding technology development with a youthful, energetic image. With inspiration taken from the fast paced world of the reigning F1 champions, the SS14 collection will ensure the wearer is always one step ahead. As part of the relationship, in March 2014, Casio will launch new Infiniti Red Bull Racing branded Edifice time-pieces in Melbourne ahead of the first race of the season. This latest collection’s story started early last year. Just as Adrian Newey started designing this year’s car, the RB10, months ago, Casio Edifice’s engineers were busy refining their designs. In regular conversation with the Infiniti Red Bull Racing team throughout the season, the Edifice engineers were able to gain unparalleled feedback from the frontline of the sport and tweak their designs accordingly. With Singapore, Abu Dhabi and now Bahrain all hosting races after the sun’s gone down, the Infiniti Red Bull Racing team also fedback on the desire for a sleek black model. As a result Edifice’s SS14 collection includes the bold EFR-537RB model, complete with Infiniti Red Bull Racing colour highlights. Providing the team with subtle timepieces that blends in with these working environments, whilst full LED illumination ensures perfect visibility, whatever the time of day.
