Cassandra Beets asked I just took in a 6 month old dane. She came from a house that just didnt have the time for her, but she was treated right. I have noticed in the 3 days I have had her, she has become super attached to me. She could be out cold on the couch, and if I leave the room she follows. If I take a shower, shes crying by the door. On car rides, she will climb over the 3 rows of seats so she can be closer. This is my first great dane, and I know they love their people. Is this normal behavior for a Dane ? Or is it worse because shes in a new home & still a puppy ? I dont mind the attachment, I just want her to be comfortable when Im not around . Would really appreciate some advice !
