Cassies Caringbridge post: Because AA has Kindergarten Graduation tomorrow they have decided to wait and give chemo Thursday because they want her feel good. She will be graduating here at the school of St. Jude in a cap & gown with pics on a slide show and some singing. If I had to guess, it will be a song from FROZEN:) They are going to teach JR & I how to administer her meds that she takes the following day after big chemo so we can do that outpatient (thank you Lord! ) Those meds are given through I. V. And are called Eclipses. AA calls her lines her Buddys because thats what the hospital teaches the kids they are. Dr. Navid went over her MRI results with us. The tumor has not started actually shrinking in size yet BUT its characteristics are changing which is great news. It has moved away from her scull AND is not growing. Dr. Navid said she was very happy with what she saw and that she believed that the center of the tumor was probably dying. She also said Rhabdomyosarcoma is a tough cookie and that it would take a while to shrink. So good news for the day! She will have her big chemo Thursday and they still wanna try steroids again! However this time they are giving her half the dosage she got last time when we had the exorcist on our hands. Thanks for the prayers everybody!
