Payment: None Audition Date: Sunday 16th February All those wishing to audition will be forwarded a copy of the script to read prior to the auditions. If you feel you can do justice to the part you wish to audition for then I will be happy to see you on the 16th. The parts are very demanding in places and especially those of Emma and Colin so please don’t take these lightly as they involve a lot of emotion in places. Auditions will be filmed for the selection process and feedback. Shooting Starts: April 6th 2014 Shooting Ends: April 10th 2014 Shooting will take place over 5 days. Please DO NOT audition for these parts if you might have something else coming up at that time that will prevent you from taking part in this shoot. Once booked and the part has been accepted I will expect you to keep these dates clear as once shooting starts we can’t re audition due to time constraints. Selection Notice: Please note that all those auditioning will receive feedback about their audition once people have been selected for the parts and confirmed their acceptance. This may be up to a week after the auditions take place. Provided you have left contact details of course. Personal Note. As my time at university comes to an end I want to go out with something really special. I want to make something that will hopefully improve the prospects of all those involved in this shoot which will help us all to go on to bigger and better things in our lives. I am very excited about this project as I have some great crew members already assembled and am looking forward to finding some really commited cast members to play the parts in this short. There is no budget for paying anyone but I will personally cover reasonable travel costs and provide food and beverages on the days we are shooting. Synopsis: Together Forever, the phrase that all those in love just can’t get enough of. To Emma, a trained psychic medium, this phrase invokes nightmares. Having escaped a mentally and physically abusive husband, she finds that even in death, he is still trying to rule her life and wants to take her with him into his new world of terror. Character BIOS. The age limits are not set in stone although it will help if the cast look around similar ages to each other. Please also note that smoking will not be allowed on set. [EMMA] [GENDER: FEMALE] [AGE: 30-40] Emma is strong willed yet also very loyal and caring towards her friends. However, her willpower has been severely drained during her marriage to Colin. She is trying to rebuild her confidence and get her life back on track after finally escaping from him. Nightmare flashbacks and bad memories of years of mental and then physical abuse have left her mentally scarred and almost broken. Working towards rebuilding her life, she tries to block out the past and move forward with the help of her friends. [ALICE] [GENDER: FEMALE] [AGE: 30-40] Alice is a very caring person yet with an adventurous and boisterous spirit. She is Emma’s best friend and they have known each other since school. They both trained and worked together and so Alice is able to understand what Emma is going through when she has her flashbacks and not so nice memories. Her dislike for Colin is apparent throughout. Now that Emma is free she wants to help her friend let go of the past and get on with her life. She also likes to play the matchmaker at times. [COLIN] [GENDER: MALE] [AGE: 30-45] Colin was first drawn to Emma because of her psychic work but it became an obsession which secretly drove him to want his own power. Being a perfectionist he wants everything to be in the right place and placed correctly and is not slow at telling Emma when she has done it wrong. His obsession drove him into studying the occult behind Emma’s back. After trying to abduct Emma from her new home after she eventually escapes his clutches he ends up dying in the ensuing struggle. But he isn’t finished yet, now he is out for revenge and will stop at nothing to take her with him. [SIMON] [GENDER: MALE] [AGE: 30-45] Simon is a spiritualist teacher who helps to train people who want to be more involved in their spiritual way of life. He is devoted to helping his students and has a very laid back nature but can also be stern when the need arises. Recently divorced, he and Emma strike up a good friendship and training arrangement. He helps Emma regains her confidence and to improve her latent abilities. Through training with Simon, Emma’s feels her strength and confidence build and he helps her to prepare for a possible confrontation with Colin.
