Casting Call for *Noise* *working title / Both Union and Non-Union Location Philadelphia, PA Casting Call for *Noise* *working title Lauren – female – age 25-30 After working as a journalist abroad throughout her twenties, Lauren comes back to the US to get married and start a new life. Realizing her independence is slipping, Lauren struggles as her new bound commitment conflicts with her desires. Farmer – male – age 60-75 Feeling the loss of his wife and the selling of his farm, this farmer loses the stability that once defined his life and worldview. Although reserved, his distress breaks through as the changing landscape and his emotions come to a head. *Note:* I am looking for actors who are interested in collaborating and open to bringing their own experience to the characters. Synopsis Lauren loses her way driving through rural farmland en route to her fiancé’s parents. At a gas station, Lauren meets a local farmer whose car is in the shop and needs a ride. Offering a ride for directions, the two drive through the changing landscape, unearthing personal frictions that develop into discord.
