Casting for Aladdin to be performed at the Savoy Theatre, Monmouth, Wales. Rehearsals start 7th December and performances run week before & after Christmas. You will need your own base in or around Monmouth. Roles available: Aladdin - Could be male or female , needs to sing and look like a principal boy Jasmine – Female, needs to sing and dance/move well and have good comic timing Wishy Washy – Male, Comic timing essential and good physicality, able to communicate with the audience and befriend them Abanazer – Male, Singer would be good, needs to know how to control the audience and make them hate him with a passion, good comic timing essential The Genie – Male, Very good singing voice, physicality important, being able to move and have rhythm and real stage presence. At one point we only hear his voice The Spirit of the ring – Female, good singing voice and dancer/ mover.
