Castle Farms of Charlevoix, a nationally renowned historic attraction, will be featured on CMU Public Television’s popular series Destination Michigan on Monday, Jan. 27, 2014, at 7:30 pm. The episode includes a film montage and historic video tour of the Castle, as well as an exclusive interview with current owner Linda Mueller. Built in 1918 by Albert Loeb, president of Sears, the Castle’s rich history includes its ten years as a working model dairy farm (1918-1927), an artist’s venue (1962-1969), as well as site for large rock concerts (1973-1995). Purchased by Mueller in 2001, Castle Farms has undergone a complete restoration and is open year round for guided and self-guided tours. It is a popular event site and one of the Midwest’s premiere bridal venues.
