Cat Television. Dont remember where I first heard about this, but thought it was a fabulous idea. I hung a large bird feeder in a tree outside the favorite window of my entirely inside; aint going outside; aint even really curious; no you cant make me go there; I will rip your eyes out if you try to take me out that door cat. Now she sits in her nest in the white comforter (well, it was white.(sigh)) and watches the birds and squirrels tussle it out for the seeds. i have never seen her chitter at them , or raise and wiggle her butt as she does just before she attacks when playing with her toys. She does, however, get mesmerized like a young human does with Spongebob, and it can be damn hard to get her attention back. On the other hand sneaking up on her and going Boo (from an appropriate distance - remember - as I did not once - claws) can be quite rewarding in terms of levitating feline.
