Cat Watch #36 - Its been only five months since the cats and kittens dropped by. Were building Stripey a new place outdoors/indoors to get her out of the garage and into something a bit more hospitable. She is awesome! The four kittens are growing nicely down in southern Illinois. And Pearl (Blackie) has found a really nice temporary home at Barbs Precious Rescue in Palatine. Shes a bit timid, not straying too far from her post but we think shell start to socialize soon. Barbs place is really nice. Its very new and clean and set in a house where the colonies are by age in their own rooms. Pearl is in the teen room with about seven other cats so shes a bit overwhelmed after living alone the last few years. Our hope is that she is adopted to a nice home in the future. She wouldnt have had that opportunity at our house. If you have time and live in the area, go take a look, Joy is volunteering every month to help out on the weekends. In the meantime, Stripey is thinning out the herd of varmits around the yard so I need to say that the video attached as a toy in it. We took it away after a while.
