Cat story time! Cards on the table, I love singing in the shower. Love, love, love it. The acoustics are great and the steam helps to clear my sinuses. And the combination of water pouring and my alto timbre assures that people who hear me might think Im being brutally murdered. Prime singing conditions. My cat, Macavity, loving as he is, hates my singing. Especially if Im singing in the shower. After a few minutes of singing merrily to myself and lathering my hair, Macavity comes in complaining. The old man cat equivalent to Turn that music down, you kids! And since Im super mature, I decided to stick my head out from behind the shower curtain and sing louder. The louder I sang, the louder he meowed. What started as singing loudly quickly evolved to yelling “La la la la la la la la la la!…” while he howled like the old coot that he is. To sum up, I had an argument with my cat over my shower singing. Todays been a good day. Now to make my dear friends $5.00 poorer! Poker night!
