Category Descriptions! Natural categories (Partial Beard Natural, Natural Moustache, Tiny Tim, Angler Beard, Buck Hunter Beard, and Pioneer Beard) are judged on the following factors: - Length - Color - Density - Shape Styled categories (Partial Beard Styled, Styled Moustache, Braided / Dreaded, & Full Beard Freestyle) are judged on the following factors: - Length - Color - Density - Detail The Shittiest Tattoo category is judged on the following (the lower the score, the worse the tattoo is): - Complexity - Color - Linework (how neat / messy the outline is) - Originality Judges are asked to rate each factor listed above from 0-10 for each competitor. Those numbers will then be added together to give each competitor a score. The judge’s scores for each competitor will then be totaled to give each competitor a final score. This final score will determine their ranking in said category. Ladies’ Fake Creative Facial Hair Glue, string, yarn, action figures, Legos… pretty much anything goes if you can make it in the shape of a beard, moustache, sideburns, chops, etc. Get fantastical with it! Full costumes that compliment the facial hair are encouraged also! Ladies’ Fake Realistic Facial Hair Attention to detail and realism is the name of the game in this category. Anything can be used to craft the facial hair – as long as it looks like it should belong on a man’s face. Natural Moustache The natural moustache is facial hair that rests on the upper lip but does not grow past the ends of the mouth. The length of the moustache can span past the ends of the wearer’s mouth however. Styling products such as gels, pomades, wax, etc. are prohibited. Soul patches, goatees or full beards are prohibited in this category. Sideburns are permitted but cannot overshadow the moustache in size or complexity. Styled Moustache The styled moustache is facial hair that rests on the upper lip but does not grow past the ends of the mouth. The length of the moustache can span past the ends of the wearer’s mouth however. Styling products such as gels, pomades, wax, etc. are encouraged! Partial Beard Natural Facial hair that is anything but connected. The lack of connection can either be due to shaving or lack of follicle prowess. Styling products such as gels, pomades, wax, etc. are prohibited. The facial hair must basically lay “as it grows”. Partial Beard Styled Facial hair that is anything but connected – with a twist! The lack of connection can either be due to shaving or lack of follicle prowess. Styling products such as gels, pomades, wax, etc. ARE permitted. Any or all aspects of the partial beard may be styled. This category is where creativity is KEY! Braided / Dreaded Beard Any kind of facial hair that is twisted / dreaded / braided into shape. Facial hair can be held in place by rubber bands or ties but NOT hair pins or clips. Tiny Tim Beard (0-4”) A full beard with all areas grown in that has either been trimmed or grown natural however it must be under 4 inches in length measured from right under the bottom lip. A styled moustache is permitted but will not be a deciding factor for judging. Angler Beard (4-8”) A full beard with all areas grown in and without trimming or shaving to create shape. The length of the beard must be between 4 and 8 inches measured from right under the bottom lip. Buck Hunter Beard (8-12”) A full beard with all areas grown in and without trimming or shaving to create shape. The length of the beard must be between 8 and 12 inches measured from right under the bottom lip. Pioneer Beard (12”+) A full beard with all areas grown in and without trimming or shaving to create shape. The length of the beard must be longer than 12 inches measured from right under the bottom lip. Full Beard Freestyle A full beard with all areas grown in and styled any way the wearer chooses. Products that can be used (but not limited to) are gels, pomades, wax, hairspray, etc. Other items that hold the hair in place should NOT be visible. Keywords: GO CRAZY! Shittiest Tattoo Disgusting, awkward, lewd, vile, repugnant, messy – just a few adjectives that could describe the winner in this category. Anything goes in this category!
