We are therefore going to sue, noted Mbabali. “We all know that President Museveni is no longer an active army officer, we are going to challenge him to explain to the public why he is still donning an army uniform yet according to the information we have he has not asked for any permission to do so.” Mbabaali said whoever wants to challenge their proposed petition should come up with written minutes from which president and NRM party members were given permission to put on that uniform since it’s only granted by the High Command after a special sitting. “We are not doing this abruptly because on May 11, 2014 with instructions from my client, HonMatthias Nsubuga I wrote to the NRM Secretary General informing him of the violations of sec 164 of UPDF Act which were being caused by NRM members in Kyankwanzi who were dressed in army uniforms, but since then we have never got any reply in regards to the above complaint,” noted Mbabaali.
